The March PS had behaved as if defeated, besides having taken many positions in the state apparatus. Contrary to the dominant view, the right-wing opposition is rising above all this burden, insofar as it continues to encourage and sustain the actions of anti-democratic forces, which have come into conflict with public opinion. Taking advantage of old experience, in order to win as many sympathizers and undeserved political points as possible, the opposition is manipulating irresponsibly and in blatant contradiction with the real situation. Their arrogance was clearly reflected in yesterday’s parliamentary session, in which for the second time Socialist deputies sabotaged parliament. Under pressure from the party forum and alternative trade unions, the PS deputies boycotted the plenary session, bypassing the voters’ paramount interests.
The absurd stance of the opposition, under the guise of a constructive force, is even more dangerous in the conditions of the inherited political and economic crisis. They present no real alternative, but play with old slogans, stirring social tensions. Their ambiguous behavior, at times as government and at times as opposition, shows a lack of political responsibility and fear of open confrontation with democratic reforms.
In this context, the boycott of parliament was not merely a demonstrative act, but part of a strategy to hinder institutional normalization. Instead of taking part in debate and decision-making, Socialist deputies prefer to wait for crises, so as to use them later as political capital. This behavior serves neither the state nor the citizens, but only narrow party interests.
The PD delegation returned to the Homeland
The Democratic Party delegation returned to Tirana yesterday after a visit to Italy and Britain, during which it held meetings with representatives of conservative and Christian democratic parties. The talks focused on political support for democratic processes in Albania, as well as on expanding inter-party cooperation. The delegation highly valued the atmosphere of understanding and the readiness of the partners to help our country overcome the difficulties of the transition.
According to the announcement, the meeting also addressed issues of economic reform, humanitarian aid and bringing Albania closer to European institutions. PD representatives stressed that the consolidation of democracy requires continuous support from Western friends, while reiterating their commitment to pluralism and the rule of law.

The so-called minister of education, in a televised clarification, tried to create the impression that the non-payment of private teachers’ salaries was the result of reforms. According to his statement, the decision is temporary and is linked to the reorganization of the education system. But the facts tell a different story.
The problem is not technical, but political. Non-payment of teachers and the lack of clarity regarding their status are being used as a pressure tool. Instead of being explained responsibly and transparently, the public is being fed contradictory statements. This has caused legitimate concern among families and among the teachers themselves.
We call on the government to provide immediate and complete clarifications, to respect the law and to stop using schools for political purposes. The President must intervene to restore institutional normality and prevent further consequences for the education system.

At a center for Albanian refugees, a group of Italian citizens organized the distribution of food and clothing aid. The activity took place in an atmosphere of solidarity and understanding, demonstrating the human ties that have been created between the communities. Many Albanian families, temporarily housed in the camp, benefited from this immediate assistance.
Representatives of the center said that needs remain great, especially for children and the elderly. They stressed that private aid cannot replace long-term solutions, but it provides much-needed relief in coping with difficult days. Those present expressed gratitude for the gesture, emphasizing that any such help has not only material but also moral value.

Socialists in the government and parliament try to present reforms as inevitable, but in practice their decisions often run counter to the needs of the market and of citizens. The lack of financial coordination, uncertainty in the wage system and administrative interventions have created a turbulent situation, affecting both enterprises and families.
If a market economy requires clear rules and fair competition, improvised policy brings only inequality and social tension. The government must clarify its priorities and take sustainable measures, instead of moving from one temporary solution to another.
Slavic Conference for AIDS
As part of efforts to raise awareness about infectious diseases, a conference devoted to the problem of AIDS was organized. Specialists in the field presented data on the spread of the disease, methods of prevention and the need for health education. The participants stressed the importance of accurate information in order to avoid the panic and prejudice that often accompany this topic.
It was also requested that health institutions strengthen cooperation with schools and the media, so that preventive messages reach the wider public. The conference underlined that the fight against AIDS is not only a medical issue, but also a social challenge.
Let colonel/director Mr. Berisha emigrate — the government strongly supports it
