Question: What are the Government's decisions regarding foreign currencies and the decision on sanctioning the system? Answer: This measure aims to stabilize the market, stimulate production, stabilize the financial system, and promote economic growth. We believe that this policy will help create an orderly market and consolidate the country's economy. The Government has also foreseen special measures to ease the social difficulties that may arise during the implementation of reforms. Question: Has an increase in wages and pensions been considered? Answer: Yes, the requests of the needy strata have been taken into account. There will be gradual improvements, especially for education workers and students, for whom living and study conditions must be improved as soon as possible. Question: What are the Government's priorities in the education sector? Answer: Education is one of the key sectors. From the checks carried out so far by the commissions established within the ministries, it emerges that there are still many cases of abuse of state property, misuse of office, and illegal favoritism. The Government has decided to act firmly to strike at corruption at all levels. The ministries have been ordered to report periodically on the disciplinary and criminal measures taken against violators. In a number of enterprises and institutions, inspections are being carried out to identify the damage and restore legality. According to official sources, the fight against corruption will be one of the most difficult tests of the transition, but also a necessary condition for restoring public trust. It was one of the summer rallies, among dozens of others organized in different parts of the country, which was welcomed with enthusiasm by ordinary people, with spirit, with hope. Yesterday afternoon, before hundreds of citizens, in the city square, a meeting was held in which economic reforms and the difficulties of the transition were discussed. According to the speakers, in the face of crisis and shortages, the country needs calm, work, and sacrifice. It was said that the Government's latest measures aim to encourage production, expand the free market, and stabilize monetary life. In the words of those present, there was a clear expectation that next year could bring improvements. Representatives of local government and political forces emphasized that it is essential to preserve order, combat smuggling, and strengthen trust in institutions. I. Emigrants in the surge of sorrow[...] In recent days, voices have increased about the social drama of Albanian families trying to secure a living abroad. In the surroundings of reception centers, at train stations, and near ports, one sees people with suitcases, small children, and tired elderly people. These are images belonging to a harsh time, but also to a hope of finding work and shelter. This report describes the stories of several families who have been left at a crossroads, between a long wait and the uncertainty of tomorrow. Some of them have been turned back, others are waiting for documents, while the young dream of a new beginning. In their conversations, poverty, lack of bread, and the desire to return one day with dignity are mentioned. The article raises serious questions about the responsibilities of the state, the need for help, and the fate of Albanians on the move. (Continues on page 3)
