If we analyze the ten special laws, moreover through ordinances, it will be seen that they establish not only the current name of the PD branch (in this case the current name of the party), but also its total number of committees, which appears constant. On the other hand, the PD party statute recognizes the right of each local branch to elect its own bodies and, in particular, the right to propose candidates for the National Council. Thus, if things were to continue without any general lawful principle, through provisions of the PP[?] branch, then the entire election process would be diluted and become completely devoid of democratic foundations. It is not right to think that the current structure of the PD can remain frozen. On the contrary, its expansion in line with recent developments, with the arrival of new people and openness to different social strata, would be an essential condition for the coming elections to have political and organizational meaning. Only in this way could broader participation and fairer representation be ensured. In any case, if elections were to be announced without new admissions, the question immediately arises whether such an action would be consistent with the statute and its spirit. If yes, then the reasons and limits of such a decision must be clearly explained. If not, then it would be more honest and more political to first carry out new admissions and only then move on to the electoral process. (continued on page 4)

Don't play with the students gentlemen of "ZP" The problems between the students and the office in one of our Faculties have become acute. Attempts to present this as a simple administrative conflict are inaccurate. The students have raised concrete concerns regarding the conditions, the way they are represented, and the lack of transparency. If certain institutions continue to use insulting or dismissive language toward the students, then their reaction will be unavoidable. One cannot demand calm without justice, nor discipline without respect. We call on those responsible to stop the provocations and enter into dialogue with the students’ representatives.
