On 16 December President Berisha will again visit NATO headquarters
The spokesman for the President of the Republic, Sali Berisha, announced last night that on 16 December 1992 the President of the Republic will pay a visit to NATO headquarters. He will meet with the Secretary General of this international organization, Manfred Verner, to discuss developments in the Balkan region.

President Berisha welcomes the military intervention in Somalia
In a press statement, the President of the Republic of Albania, Sali Berisha, welcomed the military intervention in Somalia, undertaken by the United States of America and its allies, who aim to help save hundreds of thousands of innocent lives and to restore hope and freedom in a country where hunger and fratricidal war have ruled for years.
President Berisha reaffirmed our country’s stance in support of the actions of the western allies to preserve and strengthen peace and security everywhere in the world.
