One of Nano's relatives ends up in handcuffs

Tirana, former Socialist MP PP will respond to the Judge's summons (with such zeal?) [!] Dr Carli? (who now live on the same street?) [!] The Italian Parliament allows the criminal prosecution of Krajsk[it?]- Xhevdet Nano? (name partly unclear) Having been abroad for a long time, in his absence he had also earned an arrest warrant. Police searches had not been able to locate him. Only a few days ago, with one of his friends, he returned to Tirana. He was immediately detained for the criminal offense of passport forgery. This happened two days after the publication of the letter from former Prime Minister Fatos Nano, while before the accusation he appeared before Judge C. Brati. It was this judge who had issued the arrest warrant for Nano. Immediately after his arrest, he was questioned in the police offices and brought before the competent authority. It is learned that he is charged with using forged documents and evading justice. His arrest has aroused interest because of his family connection with the former prime minister. The article emphasizes that the authorities are acting according to the law and that no one can escape criminal prosecution.

F'Nano's soldiers dare in parliament

IN LINE WITH THE RUSSIAN CONSERVATIVES Fourth: Unjustly leaders of one party or another are outraged (like Sala and Dritëroja). They themselves are the ones who, for years, with harsh criticism, have written and spoken against one another. Likewise, Mr. Hajdari has also done so publicly, and against him the so-called solidarity has erupted. Why, if freedom of speech is being defended, was there no harsh talk about these writings against one another before they reached parliament? Fifth, later on F'Nano's soldier, Milo, calls F'Nano his Dritëro Agolli, whom he later defended in parliament. Milo, as minister, has taken away the right to exhibit from the distinguished and world-famous painter, Maks Velo. Does this mean that the arrival of the two political prisoners at this exhibition, probably without an invitation, was a provocation against our well-known artist? Was some question asked at a meeting about such conduct by a minister for literature and culture a provocation? Sixth: There are plenty of such examples. If a writer-deputy defends someone who once condemned another person while still a minor, without knowing how far author's right extends to hurl accusations as in the time of public punishments, in fact this creates an evil climate that can poison the atmosphere in parliament, exactly as happened with the Russian conservatives, when they threw mud at one another in special sessions. Of course, the author has the right to express an opinion, but not to turn parliament into a platform for such attacks. (Continued on the next page [?])

LETTER FROM MR. KARDILI IN "PD"

NDERA CANAJ FITOR If necessary, after my clarification in my mission in a government, about which representatives of Mr. Kozuniak in the Italian press write that I am supposedly an economist. I ask the editorial staff to clarify that Mr. [Kardili?] is a representative of a political force and not a member of a government. He emphasizes that the accusations made against him are unfounded and that he has played no role in preparing any harmful economic scheme. The letter says that the publication of several comments from the Italian press has created confusion among readers and that this confusion must be corrected with an official denial. The author requests that his letter be published in full and that professional correctness be maintained. In conclusion, he writes that he will take legal action against any defamation that damages his public image and reputation.
