As long as a parliament of communists, social democrats, legalists, and republicans is gathered to the end, which makes history with some divided vote of the people, it has been created with a communist mentality and culture. By making himself out to be the son of salvation, not a socialist or a communist, Mr. Nano is, with this history, raising the tribune like a magic wand. He confuses history with the present, with the future and the past. By making himself anti-communist, he is using the opponent as an enemy of the people. On his tribune, everything finds a place: former prosecutors, former judges, former old leaders, and others who built the system of violence in Albania. He dresses these people in the garb of victims and reformers. In this way he tries to create a new psychosis, like what was once called class struggle, but with new political and propaganda tools. The tribune becomes the place where insults against opponents replace the program, where insinuations become arguments and where anger is sold as an alternative. This is the Enverist weapon: the fabrication of the enemy, the glorification of yesterday, and the use of fear to seize today. (Continues on p. 2)

In his office, yesterday afternoon, the President of the Republic, Sali Berisha, received in a special meeting the Archbishop of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania, Mr. Janullatos, accompanied by four other members of the Orthodox clergy. At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Janullatos expressed his wish to meet with the President in order to exchange views for the benefit of solving the problems of the Albanian Autocephalous Orthodox Church. The Archbishop presented to the President of the Republic his views regarding the situation and work of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania and expressed the wish for an expanded meeting with the President of the Republic in the future. The President of the Republic said that he welcomed this meeting and stressed that the problems of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania must be resolved in accordance with its tradition, taking into account its statute and autocephaly. He stressed that the laws of the Albanian state and the interests of the independence of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania must be fully respected. Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania condemns in the strongest terms the bomb placed in the Officers' House in Gjirokastër last night, which exploded at around 11:50. This terrorist act is part of a series of hostile actions against the Albanian state and the democratic order. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its conviction that the competent authorities will uncover the perpetrators and organizers of this event and that they will receive the punishment they deserve. Albania is determined to continue on its democratic path, and no one can stop it. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on all political and social forces to condemn such acts and to contribute to the peace and stability of the country.

- Joint press conference of MHP and MLP - Yesterday, at a press conference, representatives of MHP and MLP denounced the pressure and provocations that, according to them, are being exerted against Albanians. They said that thousands of Albanian citizens are paying the price for a discriminatory policy linked to Greek interests. According to them, behind the rhetoric of good neighborliness lies an unfair practice toward Albanian workers and emigrants. At the conference, institutional reaction and protection of citizens' dignity were called for. The representatives stressed that no political "jewel" can justify the humiliation of Albanians and the violation of their rights.
