THE BEST WAY TO ACHIEVE UNDERSTANDING IN THE REGION IS TO BUILD A MULTINATIONAL COOPERATION WITHOUT AIMING AT SPECIFIC AXES
President Berisha received the Romanian Foreign Minister
Tirana - The President of the Republic, Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha, yesterday received Mr. Teodor Meleshkanu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania. The USA in the arena of TIRANA
The USA in
the arena of TIRANA
The American President Bush listening to the American anthem on the steps of the Palace of Culture, 22 June 1991. According to what is happening today and what is being said, it seems as if this visit was less than a spectacle, or a political amnesia. By special order, “Nimfa” entered the grave of the American and the checkpoint. Among the lines where comrades, friends, strangers, ordinary people and even police collaborators gathered, the greeting of Mr. Blerim Çela emerged. The whole municipality and the Western parliament have steadily become credible in the minds of Albanians, who in one voice call together with the actors on stage for support of democracy.

“The Revolution” is a matter for zigzagging Albanians
Since they had not brought themselves to believe they could solve things through elections, they have thrown themselves onto the barricades for the violent overthrow of the democratic government. The old envious people of Albania cannot stand the way it is moving toward Europe. Everywhere a fierce propaganda has been raised against the institutions of the state and the constitutional order. In the name of the people, some groups try to speak of revolution, while their true aim is the return of chaos and of the old rule. The Albanian people have rejected these calls and chosen the path of reform, law and democracy.

Once again, bread and the people's needs are being played with
Several times we have drawn attention in our writings and articles to the major shortcomings, up to and including abuses, in the trade of foodstuffs, especially basic items such as sugar, flour, rice and oil. At present, harmful speculation continues even in free circulation, weighing on the consumer. These actions not only harm the interests of citizens, but also damage the reform process and trust in institutions.

The doors of Greece to Albanian emigrants are being closed by Greek chauvinists and not by the Greek people
More specifically, Albanians, namely household owners who have gone into emigration in Greece, especially in rural and border areas, have left the residents with great shortages. The inhabitants of these areas have established continuous ties with Albanian workers and over time have understood that Albanians are hardworking and peaceful people. According to many testimonies, the hostile reactions come not from the ordinary Greek people, but from chauvinist and extremist circles.
