ENVER HOXHA AND HIS COMPANIONS BETRAYED OUR IDEALS Young Enverists, continue his path! This is the ray of adoration and exultation of a regime such as that terrible and unfortunate Enver Hoxha, who for nearly 50 years gave prisons, hell, hunger, and misery to hundreds of thousands of Albanians. This is the painful truth of a bankrupt ideology. No such ideology can be saved by myth. The myth crafted by propaganda and fear cannot save even the figure of Enver Hoxha. In the name of socialist ideals, camps and prisons were established, people were shot, freedom was trampled, and hope was killed. That is his legacy. The Albanian people now know the high price of this historical adventure. The new generation has the right to know the truth and no longer be deceived by empty slogans. Whoever invites the young to continue Enver’s path is inviting them to turn back, toward evil and isolation. WE WANT HOXHA

These days the Albanian government has begun implementing the decision to privatize housing. Naturally, the start of implementing such an important and long-awaited decision for Albanians is accompanied by many questions and discussions. Some citizens think that the payments for housing are high and that certain easing measures should be introduced. In this framework, we are giving our opinion that payment should be made through a softer formula, taking into account the economic situation of Albanian families and the need to make the process as fair as possible. If a lower coefficient is used for families with low incomes and a higher coefficient for families with better incomes, privatization would be more acceptable. For example, pensioners’ or unemployed families could be given a longer payment period. This would facilitate the process and avoid dissatisfaction. SOTIR BUMIBLLAKU

Mr. Angjeli says that “Staravecka was not a collaborator of fascism,” but numerous documents and testimonies show that Xhelal Staravecka held positions and carried out actions that are condemnable. The attempt to rehabilitate him today is another sign of the ideological crisis of the new communists. For the “Bashkimi Demokratik Kombëtar” and other nationalist figures, the communists used defamation and labels for decades.
