Fatos Nano in Cetinje

Only he is interested in the parliamentary crisis as the only possibility of escaping punishment under the law -Fatos Nano works only for himself, not at all for the PS and “democratic socialism”. -Honest socialists must not allow F. Nano to use the PS as a scapegoat for his own interests. -The facts show that F. Nano is one of the standard-bearers of red corruption. -Fatos Nano inspires his gang to commit street thuggery even in parliament. THE JUDICIAL POWER MUST PROTECT DEMOCRACY BY BRINGING THE CHIEF MAFIOSO FATOS NANO BEFORE THE COURT OF JUSTICE -Mr. Nano’s statement is a deep self-accusation- Speculations are speculations. The chairman of the Constitutional Commission of the Assembly of Albania, the forgotten professor S. Ngjela, and his secretary, the “journalist” of “Koha Jonë”, Mr. A. Frangaj, returned from a trip to Montenegro where they had gone to conduct Mr. Nano’s interview. This interview, for any Albanian who respects himself, is chilling. Let us not be misunderstood, nor let the parliamentary metaphor used be abused. At least we still hope that even the uninformed, Mr. Nano and ours included, must have understood what the country represents in which the accused of abuse of office and corruption gave an interview to Mr. Frangaj. Truly a place of terrible crimes and indescribable massacres in the former Yugoslavia, we chose the most appropriate metaphor to understand what Mr. Nano’s role is in slander, insinuation, and deception. First and foremost, he must be read as a person and judged as such. Then what he says must be examined and things judged clearly. In his analysis F. Nano says that the Albanian government acts with “showing off” and “arrogance” toward the opposition. In particular, he sharply criticizes the punishment of the opposition (according to them and the others, Çilek, Jashfen, etc.) with imprisonment for acts of abuse of office. According to Mr. Nano, he states that the opposition is being silenced by anti-democratic means. But what does he himself call anti-democratic? Is it the judicial proceedings and court decisions, or the police protection of state buildings against coups d’état? Those cannot be either anti-democratic or political. They are the application of the law. The politicization of court decisions is dangerous. -Mr. Nano’s statement is a deep self-accusation- Mr. Nano sees himself as the imposed candidate for solving the crisis in the PS. Mr. Nano declares that he and his clan represent a former Political Bureau of the PPSH. He even calls himself a “social democrat”. This is nothing more than an attempt to deceive people, because even in this interview all his positions are aimed at defending a certain group of interests. Honest socialists must not allow F. Nano to use the PS as a scapegoat for his own interests. Instead of self-criticizing his actions, Nano tries to pin everything on the government and the PD. This is precisely the logic of a man who thinks only about personal survival. Anyone who reads his interview carefully understands that his only concern is to avoid the dock of the accused. Therefore he is fueling the parliamentary crisis as a means of escaping punishment under the law. If the PS accepts becoming Fatos Nano’s shield, it will enter a dead end. Any political force that identifies itself with corruption and the defense of those who abuse power loses the moral right to speak in the name of the people. On the contrary, the judicial power must do its duty to the end and democracy must be defended by bringing the arch-mafioso Fatos Nano before the court of justice.

Mr. Çela’s interpellation marks the end and the crisis of the corrupt socialists

Only and the riddle of the PS deputies When it really came down to it, Nano eagerly tied together his desperate speech about the “accusation” that the decree appointing Prime Minister Aleksandër Meksi constitutes a “flagrant violation of the constitution.” This was pure demagoguery, copied with very few changes from the statement of the Chairman of the “self-accusation.” Mr. Nano should know that the president issued the decree on the basis of the proposal of the political force holding the relative majority in parliament. Mr. Nano, out of ignorance or also in order to confuse public opinion, claims that someone from the opposition should have been chosen as prime minister. He has the duty to explain who specifically deserves this honor. This is his old game of distorting reality and creating political smoke and mirrors. The only serious discussion in Mr. Nano’s interview is his statement that a fierce struggle for seats and interests is taking place in the PS. This statement is true, but not in the sense he intends. In reality, the struggle is being waged between those who want to reform the party and those who want to keep it hostage to the past. Nano is the symbol of this obstruction. Even if he tries to dress himself in the mantle of “democratic socialism,” the facts speak differently. Responsibility for the situation created in the PS lies with its old leaders and with the clientelist groupings that have formed around Fatos Nano. Honest deputies must distance themselves from this spirit and defend the public interest. The political portrait of Mr. Nano is clearer when he relentlessly attacks the government but offers no concrete solution. Instead of programs and responsibilities, he offers only justifications, accusations, and empty rhetoric. That is why Mr. Çela’s interpellation marks his political end and the crisis of the corrupt socialists. (Continued on page 7)

Corruption at the top of the PS will reflect division from the base to the party center

CORRUPTION AT THE TOP OF THE PS, WILL REFLECT DIVISION FROM THE BASE TO THE CENTER OF THE PARTY The extremely high corruption at the top of the PS will cause serious social and political consequences, the country, the finances and the entire government. It will start to spread after that, the fate of the people? What about... Or perhaps it is because they know the whole thing and are covering it up? What is the reason? It is necessary to say that the responsibility of the top of the PS for the laws and the voters, etc., is... It is clear that, due to the negative tendency, it becomes a pretext. Corruption has consumed everything. As such, the people see that they have been condemned with a martyrdom that has left them and the others. The CNi and the sh.
