A war newspaper that outdoes Enver

A. KANÇNIQI "National Bidjolica" TIRANA - 384 PAGES, NANO, 96 SONGS, 28 PUBLISHED STORIES, 2 PETITIONS, 3 LETTERS FROM VAZHD AND BIFINJA 6 POLITICAL ALTERNATIVES" THAT MAKE UP THE SUMMARY OF THE THIRD ISSUE OF THE MAGAZINE: "KOHA JONË NË UNIVERS". The aim of this magazine, which came out freely and reminded us of the stories of revolutionary students, ever since the day of liberation, with a large number of names, figures, programs and decisions that try to impose a general monotony, is to transmit as many news items as possible, even when they are not news. In the new issue, 96 songs are included, just enough for half of Albanians to be able to sing nonstop. This issue also includes many documents, petitions and letters. All of this creates the impression of a product with a clearly propagandistic character. In part of the publication, slogans, names of organizations, groups and initiatives are listed, creating a crowded picture with no analytical order. Notices, appeals and advice are interwoven with strong political tones. The author tries to give an overview of the Albanian reality, but the way the material is structured makes it look more like a political war leaflet than a magazine with normal journalistic standards. Instead of argument, accusation often dominates. Instead of analysis, harsh language. Instead of editorial selection, the gathering of every possible piece of material. That is why the reader is left with the feeling of having before them a publication that even outdoes Enver in its spirit of confrontation and verbal mobilization.

"Neither the PS nor the PAD can be taken for fools"

Berisha's attempt to create a functional opposition will fail In the meetings and statements of recent days, assessments have returned regarding the role of the opposition and the president's efforts to steer political life toward a more manageable configuration. According to the analysis presented, the attempt to create a functional opposition, tolerated and managed by the authorities, cannot succeed, because the main opposition parties cannot accept a decorative role. In particular, the PS and the PAD are mentioned, which, according to the article, cannot be taken for fools, since they have real political interests, their own electorates and objectives that cannot be merged into a scheme invented from above. The article underlines that President Berisha aims to divide and weaken the opposition through selective approaches, separate meetings and implied promises, but this strategy is expected to face serious obstacles. It remains to be seen whether future developments will strengthen the opposition as a real factor or merely produce new inter-party tensions.

There is no pronouncement in the message from Belgrade

In another political commentary, it is assessed that the signals coming from Belgrade do not bring any substantial new development, but rather repeat known positions. The author stresses that Albanian public opinion should not be fed illusions about immediate changes, especially when these are presented as tactical gestures rather than strategic shifts. The article emphasizes the need for prudence and for a realistic reading of political messages coming from different centers in the region.

Blera "worried" about Fatos Nano

MINOR SEHU This article deals with the political reactions that have accompanied the name of Fatos Nano and the way various public figures try to position themselves in relation to him. The term "worried" is used with an ironic tone to point not so much to a real concern as to a kind of political and public calculation. The article suggests that the frequent mention of Nano's name is linked to his symbolic weight in the opposition and to the battles for influence in the opposing camp. In closing, it is implied that the declared concerns may be more part of a political game than the expression of a sincere alarm.
