“ZP” wants firewood
Today the auction for the sale of firewood was held. Usually, auctions have a common denominator: “ZP,” that is, “Zëri i Popullit,” is always declared the winner, whereas the other wooded areas are given to occasional contractors. Best wishes to the 2nd National Congress of the Democratic Party of Albania!
THE SECOND CONGRESS OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS A CONGRESS OF FREEDOM, PROSPERITY AND THE CONSOLIDATION OF DEMOCRACY
Where were you yesterday? What do you want from us today?
An interpellation with the chairman of the Intergovernmental Property Committee, Ylli Bufi
So the Albanian ambassadors came to Tirana for their first annual meeting, volunteer traders of the second democratic [illegible] their names in the newspapers and were denounced with a posted notice. In Tirana, a colored map was circulating from the land sales office in central Tirana. Yesterday the state committee for coffee licensing was inaugurated. One of the opposition parties yesterday commemorated with a rally the heroic events of 8 December. Meanwhile, the striking dissidents protested over the fate of 700 thousand dollars that were hidden in a private bank. The deputies will meet in parliament next week to discuss next year's reduced budget and the approval of the medium-term program. President Berisha was yesterday in Korçë, where he met representatives of local government. And at the end of the day the government convened the Defence Council. Where were you yesterday?

At midday several women came and placed cloths and flowers on the marble slabs. Then several dozen others arrived and gathered in the student city. “The Axe” is working furiously. The next day there will be another rally. Not far from here, a party office was entering a process of reorganization. All this seems to me like sparks aimed at restoring the old rhythm of a noisy politics that has tired our country greatly. What the country expects are not theatres, but solutions.
