WAGE RESTRAINT DIRECTLY FINANCES THE STANDARD OF LIVING

-The growing regional differentiation with the most attractive managerial “oven”- Incorrect concepts also cause inappropriate behavior in social implementation. We observe this shortcoming in economic thinking in the different tendency and the position that has been created and accepted in broad public opinion regarding wage differentiation within a production unit or sector at branch level. This has been encouraged by a deep misunderstanding and an unstudied or incorrect interpretation of the special laws governing improvements in wage levels in the productive and non-productive sectors. This situation has been caused by a lack of understanding of the various links between wages and the final result, production fulfillment, productivity, costs, and profit. In the economic theory of labor and in market-economy practice, the basic wage is the wage on which all bonuses for certain achievements are calculated. In conditions where it is clear that the worker will receive income depending on output and therefore on the result of his work, the basic wage provides a minimum guarantee. However, in our case, the basic wage has historically been built as a general compensation and not as a real basis for performance. This has led to distortions in wage structure. A salary is the price of labor power and is established in relation to the market, qualifications, the difficulty of the work, responsibility, and the result. It cannot be the product of administrative wishes or pressure from interest groups. The more we are guided by market mechanisms, the more wages must be linked to productivity, effectiveness, and profit. In this sense, there is no reason why an entire sector should be paid more than another simply because it is considered “attractive” or “difficult.” The criteria must be measurable, comparable, and tied to results. Otherwise, society sends the economy the wrong signal: to shift human energy not toward the most useful production, but toward posts with favorable administrative pay. On the other hand, it must be understood that artificial savings in the wage fund cannot finance real increases in well-being. If an enterprise keeps wages low but does not improve technology, work organization, or product marketing, it only pushes the crisis forward. Living standards are financed by productivity and added value, not by managing poverty. Finally, wage differentiation must be such that it encourages qualification, responsibility, and creative work, not formal privilege. This is the only way for wages to become an instrument of development and not a source of social dissatisfaction.

Paradoxical statement WHOM SHOULD WE BELIEVE, THE PS BY DAY OR THE PS BY NIGHT?

Statements that oppose the policy and propaganda of yesterday’s PS Binder PD. In recent days, through the Albanian and foreign press, a series of statements made by officials of the Socialist Party have circulated, which run counter to the propaganda and positions that this party has held over the years. They speak of the market, property, privatization, pluralism, integration, and respect for institutions, while public opinion still remembers the opposite positions this party defended earlier. The question is simple: which PS should we believe, the one by day or the one by night? The one that in calm statements presents itself as reformist, or the one that in practice and propaganda tries to stir up distrust, tension, and early elections? If today’s statements are sincere, then yesterday’s propaganda must be acknowledged as wrong. If not, then we are dealing with a common tactic for external consumption. Citizens have the right to demand coherence. A political party cannot behave with two languages: one toward international partners and another toward its own militants. This split between public declarations and actual behavior seriously damages political credibility. The Democratic Party, meanwhile, carefully notes these contradictions and calls on public opinion not to be deceived by new formulas with old content. The debate must be open and based on facts, not on a fabricated image.

Reply by Mr. Selami to Mr. Trenova on Mr. Servet Pëllumbi’s statement about early elections

“As if it still keeps the old reflexes. The cassette speech seems to have its charm. The little birds [?[?]] as if it were honey, not any bigger than before, and they hope to move [?[?]] separated from the others. Those[?] of the victory of 22 March ’92, which brought it down from [?[?]] still are not”
