NANO REQUESTS
A RETURN TO THE
TRIAL
-Deterministic bluffs are not overcome with "fresh" changes-
Already in yesterday's morning session, after several exhausting debates during the court hearing, attention was drawn to a substantial part of Fatos Nano's reasoning about the charges brought by the prosecution. By analyzing a series of procedural irregularities, which were due either to intent or to the professional incompetence of the prosecutors, he once again described the absurdity of the entire case against him as political.
In the afternoon of yesterday, around 3:30 p.m., at a time when the prosecutors in the case had not bothered to appear in the courtroom, Fatos Nano made a short but highly significant statement:
"Mr. chairman of the bench! At this moment I can say that the session has reached a critical point. The accusing party is not here. This act can be treated as a very serious procedural violation. I ask the bench to assess this situation and take the appropriate decision."
Nano further underlined that the absence of the prosecution not only undermined the formal regularity of the session, but also the defendant's right to due legal process. According to him, the prosecutors' absence was not an accidental episode, but a clear sign of the weakness of the accusation.
The session was suspended for a few minutes and then resumed in a tense atmosphere. In the end, Nano requested a return to the trial and strict respect for legal procedures.

WE HAVE KEPT IN A LEGAL FRAMEWORK
After questioning the witnesses, one of the prosecutors speaks
Interview with prosecutor Arben Qeshti given to the correspondent of "Voice of America", Kavedashi.
Question: Did you finish? And the questioning of the witnesses?
Answer: Yes, as far as the questioning of the witnesses is concerned, they were questioned definitively. The fact that we took such an action is related to the specific circumstances of the trial and to the need to clarify the case in full.
Question: Do you think there was pressure?
Answer: We acted only on the basis of the law and of our professional conviction. Any other claim is unfounded.
Question: How do you assess the accusations of the defense side?
Answer: They are part of their defense strategy and do not change the substance of the accusation.
"ZP" CONTINUES TO DECEIVE THE CHANGES AROUND THE TRIAL
-In untruths that do not become anything at all, not only is their obvious interpretation made, but the words of some witnesses are completely distorted-
The exodus and developments in the time mentioned in the period after the trial of F. Nano?
"ZP", regardless of its opposing line, continues in its familiar style to distort reality. In yesterday's issue it published an article in which it not only distorted some statements made in the courtroom, but also put into the witnesses' mouths words they had not said.
In particular, the newspaper in question manipulated the answers given on certain issues, creating an untrue picture for public opinion.
This way of reporting is contrary to the minimum professional ethics.

FROM THE PARLIAMENTARY DEBATE ON THE "PD" GROUP, by Minister Halili on "On the guilt in the property"
THE CONCLUSION MUST BE FOR EVERYONE
-PD assessed it without praise or bluster, the chairman cannot with the public and publication
THE CONCLUSION MUST BE FOR EVERYONE
The work of the State in Albania, by changing sterile expectations and political dullness. It is above the structures of the economy and industrial development, banks, financial operations and trade submissions.
Abon? as well as social and trade-union organizations, especially the high level of unemployment, price surges, regional inequalities and other phenomena that make it difficult to cope with reforms.
In this framework, the parliamentary debate must draw a clear and realistic conclusion about responsibilities and ways of solution.
