EXCLUDED COMMUNISM: GJEN PERMALLOHET

EXCLUDED COMMUNISM: GJEN PERMALLOHET Thus writes the well-known Austrian daily Die Presse in today's issue in its editorial, devoting ample space to the new policy against communism in Albania. In today's issue of Die Presse dated 24 March, the editorial titled "For a lustration [?]" is published. In this editorial it is said that Albanian politics is entering a new phase in which officials of the old regime are being removed from public life. According to the article, the Albanian government led by Aleksandër Meksi and President Sali Berisha have taken steps to prevent communists from returning to leading posts. The editorial points out that even if such measures may seem harsh, they are part of the effort to break away from the totalitarian past. The article also emphasizes that in Albania there is a risk that former communists could use the old structures to regain power. The article also mentions the public debate over the responsibilities of the past and the need for moral and political transparency. In Excluded Communism, the author of the editorial underlines that Albanian democracy is still fragile, but it needs a clear stance toward the communist legacy. Finally, it is stressed that Austria and Europe are following the development of reforms in Albania closely.

TODAY'S REQUISITION

Nano case TODAY'S REQUISITION "In the name of freedom" for the anniversaries Nano in court should be sure to have the safety of a person making some ridiculous statement "about what divides and what one hears". "ZP" on the same page where it defends E. Hoxha, also defends Nano Albania. The prosecutor A. Oseku of Tirana said that 10 years for Goqkuli would be paid with 30 years. In those weeks, with the mildness of reasoning, he told the defendant to admit before the court his own convictions and in that state the judge said. They were saying today before the court, inside me. The Albanian order and the light loads from the votes. In those illness that will happen in the eyes of the world, but to kill. What they want well! Dear fak! dear. A. Oseku that I have not had an order. Do you understand!? Water, punishment!? how can it not happen!? That one is weird! Has he defended Albania? with the one who opposed it!? yes? ah? Has he done it? how? what? the defense?! Is he alive?! He called, but this revenge, does it ask? Sali? In front of himself? The state. and it is mentioned! Laws and conscience. Explain it! And this one. the horn of persecution is making him ridiculous. We end with this. Nano will be defended by both the lawyer and memory. Hope? not to win! the order defends him. EDI PALOKA

NOT A PROLONGED PARADOX

(Continued on page 2) -Is Ekzema holding the beginning of the Hero and the people and taking the positions for it?! -When will Dëni move? The victims do not ask for political trials, but for a stance against crime Lazër STANI At a time when Ekzema holds the beginning of the Hero and the people and takes the positions for it?! When will Dëni move? ... Statement in Parliament by MP Uran Butka 12 March 1994 An essayist of the time, with hatred and cynicism, denies the human right to come to terms with the past. On the contrary, moral and political punishment is demanded for those who were part of the repressive mechanism. We are confronting a heavy totalitarian legacy and the risk that the victims will be forgotten. This is not revenge, but the minimum demand of democratic justice. What is sought is not vengeance, but the final break with crime and its responsibilities. If this is not done, Albanian democracy will remain compromised and insecure.
