25 Democratic Party deputies demand that the amnesty issue be discussed soon in Parliament
I am for deep changes in the government
I call on the President and the Prime Minister to turn the value they place on Albanian talent into reality through their inclusion in the highest state bodies
The statement by Mr. “P.D.” published yesterday on amnesty, supposedly as a statement of the DP Parliamentary Group, has drawn the attention of many political and social circles. Although a collective position of the DP Parliamentary Group had no direct connection with this statement, it has prompted many deputies to speak out about the amnesty issue and about changes in the government. A group of 25 deputies has requested that the amnesty issue be discussed soon in Parliament.
In the discussions held, it was pointed out that the act of amnesty must be based on legal, humane, and social principles, without undermining public order and the fight against crime. On the other hand, it was requested that the government show greater openness to Albanian talent and that this be made concrete through their inclusion in the highest state bodies. These positions were presented as part of a broader debate on reforming governance and consolidating democratic institutions.

The article brings a series of polemical comments about the role of Fatos Nano and about the orientation of the political force in relation to the national question and developments in the region.
Further on, internal debates within the SP are also mentioned, presented as a sign of ideological splits and rivalry for leadership. The text has an accusatory tone and aims to emphasize the danger of closeness to pro-Serb circles at a politically sensitive moment for the country.
The return to the dream of reforming the regime of pre-electoral dictatorships

Today, if there is amnesty and pardons, cooperation with the Great[?]
It is argued that part of the public debate has shifted from justice issues to the political calculations of the moment. The author notes that pardon and amnesty cannot replace the need to build strong institutions and a credible justice system. He adds that broad political cooperation would be useful only if it is based on clear principles and not on unstable compromises.
In conclusion, it is emphasized that institutional stability and public trust are built through transparency, equality before the law, and the responsibility of the political class.
