The leaders of the Socialist Party do not agree with any form of governance or any government that is not in their hands

-The seizure of power by any means failed.-A suffocating pressure threatened the socialists -The so-called group of new ministers appeared before work had even begun Less than 20 weeks had passed since the March '92 elections, when they would vote for the PD government, without abandoning their blocking game of demagoguery. Since then, they have gained enough experience to carry out a more perfidious approach to their malicious positions through fiery language. But as early as November 1992, at the meeting of the Presidium of the People's Assembly, with the votes of the democratic majority, the two vice-presidents from the opposition were elected. This served the socialists to claim that a new dictatorship was being prepared. Because, according to them, this action harmed the opposition, despite the fact that both vice-presidents of the Presidium came from opposition parties. People understood that nothing was happening except the implementation of the rules of procedure. This was being done to give the opposition the rights it was entitled to, but instead of accepting that, it began to fuel conflict and threaten a boycott. These are well-known ways of behaving of the SP. The worsening of the political climate by this party did not subside even when it failed in its own extremism, which was driving the country toward a pointless deadlock. On 31 October 1993, on the basis of the referendum results, the majority of the people rejected the draft constitution presented by the government. For the socialists, this turned into a golden opportunity to declare that the democratic government's rule had to be overthrown and that the country should go to early elections. From then on, part of their strategy was to encourage every wavering, every dissatisfaction, every real difficulty of the transition, hoping that these would automatically translate into a government crisis. They portrayed the cabinet as worn out, spoke with certainty about imminent resignations, moral and institutional collapse, and their own near arrival in power. It was announced that in January we would have a new government; then that in spring everything would be overturned; later that autumn would bring the great political solution. However, none of these predictions proved true. The government continued to work, the institutions functioned, and the country, despite all its difficulties, did not enter the adventure desired by the socialists. The recent polemics around the reshaping of the government were exploited by the SP to revive its claim that the country was entering chaos. It rushed to speak of a deep crisis, irreconcilable splits in the majority, and an inability to govern. But once again reality turned out differently. Changes in the cabinet, discussions and movements within the majority showed a normal political process, not the catastrophe preached by the opposition. These developments not only did not favor the SP, but once again presented it to the public as a force that waits only for the other's failure. Thus today it seems clearer than ever that the leaders of the Socialist Party do not agree with any form of governance and with any government that is not in their hands. They are not seeking a higher democratic standard, but are displaying impatience for power, wanting to seize it at any cost, even by encouraging conflict, mistrust and institutional blockage. This way of behaving has now become evident to public opinion. Translation in English: The leaders of the Socialist Party do not agree with any form of governance and any government that is not in their hands. Their attempt to seize power by any means failed. A suffocating pressure threatened the socialists. The so-called group of new ministers appeared before work had even begun.
