“Out with the criminals”
From the seventh campaign of the PS. Pellumbi in Rrogozhine
“How many people has your brother Lirim Pellumbi killed as head of the internal branch in Durres”
- “The boy who was killed was denounced to the police by those around you”
- You have sentenced your students
- “I condemn Nano and El Hoxha here before us”
- “Down with communism”, “Down with the PK”, “Long live the President”
- “How many people has your brother Lirim Pellumbi killed when he was head of a branch in Durres?” one of the participants asked the deputy chairman of the PS.
- “You have arrested your students in the lecture hall,” another ordered.
Some of the group of students were followed by the shouts: “Down with communism”, “Down with the Communist Party”, and by other participants.
“I am a former partisan,” a woman told Pellumbi, “but in '76 communism killed my son. Those around you are exactly the people I see who denounced my son. What party do you belong to? The party of informers.”
That was the painful moment which angered the people, who rose up in outrage and continued with the cries “Down with communism”, “Long live the President”, “Nano has declared himself for steps with E. Hoxha. Condemn him here before us”, challenging Mr. Nano’s representative in the hall. But Servet Pellumbi had no choice but to leave the hall with his tail between his legs in order to gather later the handful of people who surrounded him and whom the hall described as informers.
Thus Pellumbi failed in Rrogozhine, where he saw with his own eyes with what “love” people receive them, even those who still today defend Marxism and communist genocide.
The deputy chairman of the PS had the chance to carry out a real survey there among the people about the “certain victory of the PS”. It is no surprise that “ZP” will write that comrade Pellumbi achieved success in his meetings because only a few “hooligans” tried to disrupt the meeting, and that the PS will win not one, two votes but three by two votes, etc., etc. But perhaps the PS will protest, as it always does when faced with such realities, by accusing the PD of having sent in riffraff and SHIK infiltrators. They certainly cannot accept that the reality is that their “electorate” consists of those who spent their whole lives persecuting and terrorizing people physically or psychologically. They do not want to understand that people are disgusted by their faces and think that with the fabrications they invent and the promises of “golden roads” they will once again make people cheer for Marx and E. Hoxha.
In any case, let them continue their campaign. This is the seventh campaign they are running, and perhaps they will run seventeen more campaigns, but the result will always be the same. More and more, the reality of the Albanians persecuted for 50 years of socialism will be thrown back in their faces, socialism built on just as many massacres and the demagoguery used today by the very same people who used it then.
