Between the government statements and those who tried to defend this absurd position, the name of Albania was mentioned not for civility and understanding, but for the way our compatriots were treated. What happened serves neither order, nor law, nor the image of the country. On the contrary, it adds to the wounds of a society that needs reconciliation with itself and to present itself with dignity before the world. From all the reactions of the last few days, citizens have understood that what is accompanied by fear, silence, and violence cannot be called success. What hides the truth and turns the citizen into an enemy cannot be called state propaganda. Instead of responsibility, official arrogance was seen; instead of dialogue, an issuing, commanding language was seen; instead of protecting citizens, an apparatus was seen that put them before the baton, the bullet, and slander. This is the worst way to represent Albania. Not only because it harms Albanians everywhere, but also because it presents the state as cut off from its own citizens. A state that does not know how to listen also does not know how to persuade. Therefore, the shameful presentation of official Albania cannot be covered up with ceremonial declarations. It remains a political and moral stain that calls for clarification, reflection, and responsibility.
