Albanians at the top, satisfied with their family finances

"Washington Post" places our country among the countries with the highest economic growth "Washington Post" today publishes in its social column a survey organized by "GALLUP" in 22 European countries, including Albania, to observe how citizens assess their family finances. In addition, the survey asked people what their impression is of their country's economy, of the reforms being carried out, and of which institutions or political groupings they trust. Albanians rank second only to Estonians in terms of satisfaction with their family finances. 73 percent of the Albanians surveyed said they feel satisfied or very satisfied with the state of their family finances. On the list, Albanians are clearly ahead of countries such as the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania. The survey also says that Albanians are among the most optimistic peoples about their country's economy and the progress of reforms, expressing greater confidence in state institutions and in the political forces that support change. According to the article, Albania ranks among the countries with the highest economic growth in Eastern Europe, and this largely explains the climate of optimism in Albanian society. The "Washington Post" correspondent for Eastern Europe emphasizes that this result is especially striking when compared with the high level of skepticism observed in other countries in the region.
