The parliamentary group of the Democratic Party of Albania in Italy, made aware of the visit of the chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania, Mr. Sali Berisha, to Italy, through the spokesperson of the parliamentary group, Mr. Fulvio Martushello, has sent greetings to the head of the Democratic Party of Albania, Mr. Berisha, and at the same time has praised the work of the democratic government, a government which in a very short time has restored prosperity to Albania. Gerasimos Arsenis President Berisha received the Minister of National Defense of Greece, Mr. Gerasimos Arsenis After becoming acquainted with the state of defense relations with Greece, Minister Arsenis expressed optimism and valued the talks held between the delegations of the respective ministries. Speaking about the prospects for further cooperation and continued development, Mr. Arsenis underlined the importance of mutual exchanges and of benefiting from the experience of the developed countries of NATO and the EU. Regarding the historical ties and tradition of coexistence between our countries, Minister Arsenis affirmed that Greece is interested in stable relations with Albania. In the second part, the discussion focused on the state of reforms and the market economy that has spread in Albania. Mr. Arsenis respectfully praised Albania’s persistence in economic reforms, which are creating the foundations for the development of private business, free economy, democratic institutions, order and security. PDSH has approved in government, even before taking reform steps and improving mentalities. Describing the Albanian administration as effective, the defense minister visited Albania from Brussels.
