Albania before the great
Press conference of the Secretary General of the PDSh, Mr. Tritan Shehu
The Socialists will punish privatization
Socialist leader Fatos Nano summed up the 40 days of the governing administration. He has declared the socialist governing objective in its most distorted form with the rhetoric of: confiscation and, in one case, even privatization. The first was a demand for review or overthrow, the second for replacing a large part of the state leadership created after 24/7.
The opposition stance of the Socialist elite has sought and continues to seek the further destabilization of the country with all the connotations of that word.
From this platform we explain to public opinion the daily blockages, the baseless accusations, the attempts to stir up strikes and protests, and the old spirit of denying every achievement. This political behavior does not serve the country.
From this tribune we affirm that Albania is moving toward modernization, toward a market economy, and toward Euro-Atlantic integration.
At the center of the Socialists’ attack remain privatization and private property. These issues are precisely the foundation of democratic reforms.
We consider it essential to defend the privatization process, economic freedoms, and the constitutional order.

Is Arkan behind the Socialist black funds?
Written by the Italian agency Adnkronos
The Italian news agency Adnkronos, from sources close to Socialist circles, gives this version: “All set to bring to Italy also Zeljko Raznatoviç, known by the nickname Arkan.”
Arkan is called the chief of the Serbian volunteer militia, famous for crimes in Bosnia and Croatia.
According to the sources, the leaders of the PS would contact him to secure the necessary funding for the election campaign.
This hypothesis is presented as alarming and requires clarification.
According to the BBC
PS is financed by Serbian socialists
The above news has also been made public in the British media, where there is talk of financial ties between the Albanian left and Serbian circles.
Opposition officials have denied this version, but the debate remains open.
