It is clear that his idol and those of his comrades is 29 November not as the day of the country’s liberation, but as the day of the establishment of the communist regime in Albania. Apparently the English are grateful for the communist transition, so their voice thunders with crocodile tears for the victims of the war and affection for the allies, as if they have nothing in common with the organization of 52 years ago and the regime installed then in Albania. They think they have washed their national conscience by not removing the name of the year 1991 as their only day against political pluralism and democratic efforts. They call themselves defenders of democracy, while denying it any value and trying to bring back the symbols, dates and figures of the failed regime. It is precisely at the upcoming congress of the socialists that it will be proven that they have not been able to break away from their origins. Not only the choice of the name, date, place and spirit, but also the declarations and orientations that come from them show that they remain a force that has not detached itself from the Party of Labour of Albania. In these conditions, the attempt to present themselves as a modern European party is a farce. Albanian democracy cannot be built on denying the past and reviving the symbolism of dictatorship. p. 5
