The PS is open to crises and regression
Post-election developments in the PS, historic events
The escape of Gramoz Ruçi to Niger
The failure of Nano's motion.
The joining of Kastriot Islami to the PS and the teleconference from the Sahara by Gramoz Ruçi.
A strike from above is keeping the socialist rebellion alive. The failure of Nano's motion, a consequence of the formal dysfunction of the opposition. Some voices from the top in the PS have advanced theses of further regression, praising the open rebellion within its structure, while setting aside the deep crisis.
Today the opportunist Kastriot Islami will leave behind a global picture of the governance he carried out over the last 8 months. In fact, the developments that have taken place in the PS in recent days are as interesting as they are entertaining.
They begin with the second “stigmatization” of the largest pink elephant in decline. Nano's and Meta's governments are suffering one blow after another and, instead of deepening criticism, theses of regression have been opened. In short, the chief socialist is behaving like an elephant in a garage. It is becoming morally questionable as well.
The conversations all around since the first days after the trafficking was revealed, at the height of the outburst of criticism and betrayals within the party ranks, appear as signs of a shaken politics. On the other hand, the current stance of the socialists is becoming increasingly unclear.
Meanwhile, the open rebellion within the PS is keeping its own crisis alive. The undefined position, the silence of many figures, indifference due to defeat, and the appearance of dissatisfied groups are signs indicating internal disintegration.
Nano's motion failure has shown that even the formal instruments of opposition are not functional. Now everything seems like an extended drama, where Gramoz Ruçi's teleconference from the Sahara comes as a symbol of political absurdity.
Within this framework, the membership of Kastriot Islami in the PS has been seen as a new development in its troubled panorama. This act has been interpreted as an effort at political repositioning and as a sign that the crisis has not yet reached its end.
This satirical article puts the emphasis on the general climate of confusion, improvisation, and attempts to preserve the vitality of a socialist rebellion fed from above.

Spontaneous struggle for (non-)reform
The gap between rival groups in the Socialist Party deepens
The deal, more or less at the end, as both sides say, on reforming the party seems a bit like a joke, but when the recent events are looked at — from the blows dealt at central and local level to the displays of nervousness in the second opposition party in Tirana — they paint a rather ironic picture.
The “displays” of nervousness in the party, according to many observers, are indicators of a deep crisis that has gripped its structures. In the districts and at the center, different groupings are clashing, each trying to preserve its own ground.
Islami is watched for creative revisionism
First hesitation at the beginning
The same procedure is also followed for Hazisa's delayed declaration. “Ali, Ali, who has weapons and then declares?! Who dares to say that we are burning without hearing, Albanian? Speak with your mouth.”
Islami replies: “Albania is not experiencing flames. At the extreme maximum. They have come out waving the flag high like this ridiculous past. Meanwhile, they say that it clearly exists from the elections.”
