These voices and noise-makers, in the name of pluralism, democracy, and transparency, with a vulgar and conflictual vocabulary, have undermined the aims of the rule of law, civility, and constitutional order. Such are also the recent actions of deputy Azem Hajdari, which cannot be accepted as normal in the parliamentary and political life of the country. The leadership of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, while assessing with high political and moral responsibility the conduct of deputy Azem Hajdari, concludes that his repeated public and political actions have seriously damaged the image of the PD parliamentary group, the institutions of the state, and the very spirit of democracy. For these reasons, it is proposed to the governing structures of the PD that he be expelled from the parliamentary group. This proposal is based on the fact that Azem Hajdari has undertaken public actions that run counter to parliamentary discipline, the spirit of cooperation, and the responsibilities arising from the mandate of a deputy. His behavior has created division, stirred tension, and damaged the image of the Democratic Party. The students, through a statement of their own, have distanced themselves from Hajdari’s leadership and from the marginal groups that support it, stressing that they cannot be represented by a spirit that incites conflict and that unlawfully appropriates the name of the student movement. In these circumstances, political and moral responsibility requires that clear measures be taken, in defense of the parliamentary institution, the Democratic Party, and the public interest.
