Measures to keep “Gjallica” afloat

Commission of ministers for the Creditors’ Council of the company “Gjallica” for Vlora The social dimension of the PD Government The great work of building this colossus, in which hundreds of thousands of people, yes, hundreds of thousands of people, became shareholders for the first time, was achieved through the toil and sweat of ordinary people. And this is the basic reason why, through its tolerance, the Albanian government created the possibility for this institution to continue and operate, giving its administrators time to complete the financial documentation and to make and clarify the accounts and profits of that accumulation. Indeed, the PM and legal and natural persons who have followed this path, so as not to touch the broad population and especially the poorer strata. Indeed, with this and with finding economic and financial ways for private business to recover and help citizens who have invested their money. In a gesture of humanism it has also made clear that the socialist government should under no circumstances think that, upon coming to power, it could arbitrarily shut down private activities, but should study the ways the economy reacts and take measures so that, for the honest development of private capital in Albania, it finds mechanisms to support business and the free economy. The Berisha Government has helped the homeless strata with soft loans and with other forms the strata that benefit from the budget and public investments. It has called this a political and state duty so as not to strike citizens brutally and not to allow uncontrolled consequences in the economy.
