Leading PS figures in the districts of Shkodrës, Pukës, Mirditës, Lezhës, Laçit, Tiranës, Beratit, Delvinës, Vlorës, Fierit, Korçës, Gjirokastrës and others organized and led the terrorists who burned down municipalities, communes, prefectures, police stations, courts, etc. These groups aim to demonstrate in a brutal manner; these groups aim to demonstrate in a brutal manner, everywhere, with slogans such as “Down with dialogue”, “Down with PDSH”, “let us overthrow in Tirana because there the Government is overthrown”. The Democratic Party calls on all Albanian citizens to remain calm, not to be drawn into actions organized by terrorists and red mafiosi who seek to destroy democracy, the economy, and everything we have achieved in these years of freedom. The Democratic Party reminds these adventurers that in Albania, power, through the free vote, cannot be taken by force and sabotage. Despite the propaganda of slander, it is not by your failed scenario, but by the free will of the people. The red mafia will never be able to defeat Albanian democracy.

Albania is not in crisis

Interview of PD Tirana chairman Shaul Bregu to BBC Radio The brain is for “Voice of America” Radio - I do not think Albania is in an economic crisis, neither financially nor politically, because Albanians have based development on investments, on industrial and agricultural production; as these are so many lekë, there are so many investments. I am convinced that there are bases in investments, in industrial and agricultural production; as these are so many lekë, there are so many investments. I am convinced that the economy, economic development, calm, order, and the state police support the future of the country. My hopes lie in the awareness of the people, in a sense of logic, in the logic shaped by the experience of past years and especially of these last months. This is an experience that people understand well. I have no doubt that a certain part of the people are misinformed, but even these people are increasingly understanding what is happening today. There are many irritated, angry people, but this does not come from a lack of food or from poverty, but from the tendency to seek quick gains through pyramid schemes. Albania is in the center of attention and there are political forces that are trying to present this country in a distorted way. The Albanian people need patience and trust in democratic institutions.

The Democrats of Tirana today at a rally

“Everyone should understand clearly that with the bankruptcy of some of the investment firms, the ruin of many, many Albanian families is threatening the scale of democratic violence. Stopping the extermination, the emergence of people against democratic violence, will not be the work of either the socialists or the democrats in general, but of the one who has caused all this catastrophic situation. It is time for a conscious reflection on one’s own position in relation to freedom, democracy, and the state. The appeal of the democrats and their free vote. “The appeal of the democrats and their free vote” is the title of a large protest gathering organized by the Tirana branch of the PD, which will take place this afternoon in the capital, involving representatives of all structures of this branch, the Forums, Women’s Leagues, and the central and local leading bodies of the party.
