Tirana does not protest with the left
PD - party of unstoppable payment
Thousands of Tirana residents demonstrate with dignity in front of the PD headquarters and through the streets of the capital in defense of democracy and the law
The loss of money in the pyramid schemes cannot be exploited either by the left or by various destabilizing groups in order to carry out violent and anti-national scenarios. The response of the residents of Tirana yesterday was precisely that.
Thousands of citizens of the capital gathered in a grand demonstration to defend the rights of citizens against violence, manipulation, and the destructiveness of the left-wing forces. This conscious part of the capital assembled in front of the central headquarters of the Democratic Party, responding to the call of this political force to condemn violent acts that seek to exploit the difficult economic situation caused by the collapse of the pyramid firms in order to provoke unrest and overthrow the legitimate government by force.
The leader of the Democratic Party, Mr. Tritan Shehu, in his speech before the demonstrators said that the headquarters of the Democratic Party would not be defeated by violence, blackmail, or the dark scenarios that seek to stop the democratic development of the country. He stressed that the PD is determined to face every provocation and to defend the constitutional order, pluralism, and the western orientation of Albania.
Many citizens took part in the demonstration, young men and women, men and women, who cheered in support of democracy, the law, and the Democratic Party. Banners and slogans against violence and against those who incite political chaos were displayed. In the hands of the participants could be seen slogans such as: "No unrest", "No violence", "PD wins" and other slogans in support of democratic order.
The demonstrators walked through some of the main streets of Tirana and stopped in front of the main institutions, expressing their determination not to allow the economic crisis to turn into a political crisis. According to them, the loss of citizens' savings is a serious wound, but it must not become a tool for political games by the left or by destabilizing elements.
In the words and chants of the crowd, the idea was repeated that Tirana does not protest with the left and that its citizens unequivocally support the rule of law and democratic reforms. The rally was held peacefully and under regular organizational measures.
