Mr. Van Mierlo expressed the opinion that a technical or coalition government, whether with elements from the government or the opposition, would be a pragmatic solution and that the understanding of Albanians would also be necessary for resolving the crisis.” Albania must use all means under international law to establish order The declaration of a state of emergency was unavoidable “The Socialist Party must return to parliament and put an end to the boycott After the end of the amnesty, support for establishing constitutional order in Albania is necessary” page 3

Former Austrian Chancellor Franz Vranitzky says:

“Aid for Albania must continue” The desire to organize a joint European support and the willingness for the services provided so far to continue and be expanded. In implementation of Resolution 1101 of the Council of Europe, a multilateral group of European countries was created to monitor its cooperation with Albania . He says this in an interview with the Austrian daily “Die Presse” after returning from yesterday’s meeting of the group of European countries with Albania. He expresses his conviction that the support of Western parties, including the initiative and mediation of the OSCE and of European governments, can help the country overcome its present difficulties. Vranitzky expressed his belief that this group would be ready to stay and work in Albania until the country overcomes the crisis and creates a prospect for stability, peace and the reconstruction of the economy.
