Statement of self-discredit

Press release from the PD spokesperson The party of former figures is being declared Press release from the PD spokesperson Statement of self-discredit The party of former figures is being declared To foreign public opinion and with the statement made by several former deputies of the Socialist Party, this is being done in order to reinforce in foreign opinion precisely those positions of the Socialist Party during the electoral campaign for the 26 May elections. It is up to the person speaking in the name of the former deputies of the Socialist Party to explain why he is applying the tactics of replacing property by decree, precisely now when the People's Assembly has upheld all private property and by law has sanctioned the return and compensation of nationalized property. At the same time, it is up to the person speaking in the name of the former deputies of the Socialist Party to explain why he is reinforcing in foreign opinion the shameful accusations of the Socialist Party of dictatorship, police terror and the absence of freedoms and human rights in Albania, precisely now when the pluralist political system, freedom of the press, freedom of organization and the right to private property have been enshrined in law. In the name of the former deputies of the Socialist Party, the aim is to discredit the Albanian state, its constitutional institutions and Albania itself before world opinion under the pretext that they feel responsible before the country for the interruption of constitutional order. In reality, they are in line with other irresponsible statements made by certain circles inside and outside the country. In the name of the former deputies of the Socialist Party, former deputies of the Democratic Party present the situation in Albania as catastrophic and hopeless, denying the efforts of state institutions and the political factor to restore order. This fully coincides with the interests of those who want the destabilization of the country. From the way the position cited in today's press against the law-enforcement forces and against the government has been formulated, it is clear that it is the same spirit as that of the Socialist Party's daily propaganda, which aims to mislead public opinion and undermine trust in the state. The leaders of this initiative present themselves as a politically unclear group, without a clear identity and without responsibility for the consequences of their statements. In this way they brand themselves as a grouping nourished by crisis rhetoric and not by the national interest. Albanians have already understood who defends the constitutional order and who attacks it. They know that freedom, pluralism and private property cannot be defended by echoing slanders against their country in foreign capitals. This statement is, at its core, an act of political self-discrediting by those who signed it and a clear sign that they are declaring themselves the party of former figures.

Half-hearted planning, reluctance at heart

The PS put its failures into show for summit forces By the way it has begun to reaffirm its own mistakes, especially those that brought the country to its current state in Albania, the Socialist Party has begun to understand that its previous leadership has provided neither it nor the country with any solution. Yesterday's statement by some so-called former PS deputies, presented as a concern for the country, is in reality an attempt to escape the responsibility that the PS bears for the situation. If it were truly a sincere concern, it would begin with a self-examination, with an admission of the incitement to violence, support for chaos and sabotage of state institutions. Instead, we are dealing with a text that asks foreigners to take on what Albanian politics itself should resolve responsibly. This is not an exit, but an escape from responsibility. The PS continues to present itself as a force that speaks of peace and stability, while its political structures have fostered an atmosphere of distrust and confrontation [?] on an ongoing basis. This political duplicity can no longer be hidden. Albania does not need imported political recipes, but self-restraint, legality and a return to institutions. Any appeal for external intervention, made in a half-hearted way, remains an admission of the inability to resolve the national crisis with heart and with will.

We support the legitimate institutions of the Albanian state

To the miners of Albania We support the legitimate institutions of the Albanian state Statement by the Independent Miners' Union of Albania The Miners' Unions throughout Albania are concerned by the escalation of the country's serious economic and political situation. The Miners' Unions, while supporting and expressing their determination not to allow the violation of the constitutional order and the legitimate institutions of the state, declare that: 1. Under no circumstances and for no purpose can the pluralist constitutional order and democratic stability of Albania be called into question. 2. We do not support and will never become part of any movement that undermines the state, institutions and public order. 3. We call on all miners, workers and Albanian citizens to contribute to calming the situation and not to aggravating it. 4. We ask all political forces to abandon the language of hatred and cooperate for the country's vital interests. 5. We strongly condemn acts of violence, robbery and destruction and support the full restoration of order and law. 6. Albania needs work, peace and stability. The Miners' Unions of Albania
