The committees await Nano
Albanian Socialists under the dilemma of boycotting the elections
Prime Minister Fino in direct telephone contact with “general” Xhevat Koçina. The Socialist Party betrays the small left-wing parties
From the right-wing mafia, Albert Shyti, Jotas Nano and Goleka Malaj, respectively commander, commissioner and chief of the General Staff of the rebellion
President Berisha, in an exclusive interview for the German right-wing station, discusses his political views and the Albanian government. He insists that the United States is capable of bringing about peace without the need to change the government from this leftist center. Furthermore, early elections take on the first role in the fall of the state, a hope for the rebels and independent democrats, if one is speaking of an acceptable solution. According to him, it is clear that the uprising is the source of insecurity and of the violation of order. Berisha openly accuses certain left-wing circles of trying to manipulate the situation for political gain. He expresses his conviction that the solution must come through law, institutions, and the free vote.
At the center of political developments is the waiting for Fatos Nano. The local committees, which have gained clear influence in various cities, are waiting for a clear signal from him. The Socialists are in an open dilemma: to enter the elections or follow the logic of boycott. This uncertainty is creating tension not only in the Socialist camp, but also among the small allies of the left, who feel betrayed by the maneuvers of the Socialist Party. Prime Minister Fino is mentioned as being involved in direct contacts with rebel leaders, which reinforces the impression of a dangerous link between the provisional government and armed structures.
The article is accompanied by three photographs of political and military figures, underlining the conflict between the government, the committees, and other actors in the crisis.
The vote bursts the will of the Albanians
Berisha asks the socialist parties to choose
President Berisha, in a long interview given to the correspondent of the well-known German newspaper "Die Welt", Aleksandër [?], declared yesterday that the Albanian government is doing what is within its power to resolve the crisis by political means. He stressed that early elections are a necessity to restore the legitimacy of the institutions and that no one can prevent the will of citizens from being expressed through the vote. According to the President, the left-wing forces must abandon ambiguity and choose whether they will support constitutional order or rebellion. He underscored that civil peace cannot be built on the pressure of armed gangs and that the international community must clearly understand the nature of the Albanian crisis.
The interview also addresses relations with the West, the role of the United States and the position toward an inclusive government. Berisha states that changing the government is not a condition for peace and that the solution lies through respect for the law and the holding of free elections.
PS, forced retreat
From the party of bandits yesterday in an attempt to deceive their Albanian handover, the revanchist leadership headed by Nano finds it difficult to defend the occupation of Tirana with the occupation of Lushnja. Here the representative of deception begins to howl. It was called the occupation of Tirana. It was called the occupation of Tirana. And the alarm they keep raising daily again through their propaganda outlets is nothing new. Just as they have baptized it “The Rise of the North” and have pointed the finger of accusation at Sali Berisha and the democratic forces, even inventing schemes as if the Tiranë government seized power by force. The fact is different. Yesterday in Tirana what the entire public knows happened: the majority of the people of Tirana did not accept the occupation of the city by armed groups supported by the Socialists. Yesterday the Socialists could not sell the occupation of the capital as peace. They tried to enter Tirana by force, attempting to create the impression that all Albania had submitted to violence. But Tirana did not accept this. Its citizens showed that the capital cannot fall into the hands of armed groups and that power cannot be seized with psychological terror and weapons. Therefore the socialist leadership was forced to retreat. This retreat is more than tactical; it is proof of the impossibility of imposing a revanchist scenario at any cost. From now on their propaganda will speak of provocations, tensions, alleged other culprits. But the citizens themselves saw who was trying to enter by force and who did not accept this adventure.

Around 300 young people had moved by vehicle toward Tirana to exert pressure and demonstrate strength. According to the visible text, various groups had received orders to act in coordination and enter the capital. Instructions given by local leaders and links to Socialist political figures are mentioned. The text suggests that the operation was blocked and that the planned escalation was not allowed in the capital.

PS must abandon rebellion
PD responds to the illusionist statements of the Socialists
They are both contradictory. They have also made Kovesi long-faced, according to Çeta, full reconciliation is advised from rebellion. This opens the way for the loved ones and is giving way to the Albanians and to live. Otherwise the reactions of the political forces will become a serious obstacle to the stability of the country.
