and the Nano-Mediani filth
The country's prime minister appeared yesterday in one of the most scandalous performances of the last 6 months, struggling at the moment his attempt failed to carry out the publicly announced plan to bypass a technical government and block the reforms needed to resolve the country's crisis in favor of seizing absolute power for the left. He gave his own guarantees to yesterday's criminal and today's ally, the unfortunate and bandit Nano-Mediani, that this problem has been solved and there will be no more technical government until the country has new elections.[?]
Members of the socialist government staged a vivid show of terror and crime yesterday afternoon and evening with endless statements aimed at their political opponents. Bewildered and alarmed by the situation, they at least publicly gathered together in an office and hurled insults and threats against the opposition and the PD, demonizing their situation. Yesterday at 12:15, accompanied by the Minister of Local Government Artur Pollozhani and the Minister of Order of the Meksi government, Pjerin Boriçi, they came to the PD headquarters. Brokaj did not produce any official document stating the purpose of the visit. The first thing the prime minister said as soon as he sat down in front of the parliamentary group's executive table was: “Give up the technical government!”
Immediately after that, the prime minister asked that, in front of the journalists, the meeting be presented as a political conversation, not as criminal pressure on the opposition. Throughout the time he said he was seeking a political solution, but in essence he was carrying out open blackmail. In the absence of any democratic argument he spoke of force, prison and punishment.[?]
In particular, Brokaj attacked leaders of the Democratic Party, declaring that well-known names from it would be arrested immediately after he left the PD headquarters. According to him, Sali Berisha, Tritan Shehu, Genc Pollo and others would be arrested. His threat was made public as a “political news item,” but in reality it was a pure ultimatum.
He also spoke about the “commissars of the rebellion” in Vlorë and said they should be rewarded. In this context he mentioned the names of the gang bosses Xh. Koqia, A. Ollimi, L. Petroshati, A. Gozhita as people who had “kept order” in the south. This grave statement was in itself a public admission of cooperation between power and the gangs.
Last night showed that the left-wing government has entered a new phase of political pressure and that its objective is the imprisonment of opponents, not national reconciliation. The subsequent reactions made even clearer that the goal was to intimidate the Democratic Party and its parliamentary representatives.
