In this society tired of violence, fear and insecurity, power does not hesitate to revive old political myths to cover up its failure. Celebrations, parades, flags and rhetoric about "liberation" cannot hide the fact that crime, corruption and irresponsibility rule the country. Instead of governing for the citizen, we have an administration that lives off yesterday’s slogans and today’s privileges. If the government wants to show that it has legitimacy, it must find it in the law, in fair elections and in the safety of people’s lives, not in the imposed memories of a manipulated history.
