The accusation against the newspaper “RD” and its journalists was such as to raise serious doubts about what campaign the government was preparing in order to shut down one of the most important institutions of the opposition. The absurd accusation invented by this power, according to which “Rilindja Demokratike” was allegedly preparing an armed uprising, had previously been used in Kosovo to discredit media and opposing political forces.
