The World Bank warns Nano: “let the corruption delays go away”

The World Bank declared yesterday that the government must fight corruption and economic crime with force. A bank spokesperson said that the progress of economic reform has stalled because of the irresponsibility of state structures and the inability to fight corruption and smuggling. In a statement distributed to the press, the bank called on the Albanian authorities to take more energetic measures to implement reforms and strengthen public order. On page 5
