Political elections without Nano
Berisha: Europe knows that Fatos Nano's Albania and Milosević's Serbia are the only countries in today's Europe with political prisons and political prisoners
Not only remembrance
By Bahri YLLI
The magnificent monument of democracy. An infinity with doors thrown open, hundreds and hundreds of gunmen and dozens of military police officers; thousands upon thousands of brave democrats, in the Square of Freedom, in the capital of their homeland, to demand through the power of the vote the removal of the government of crime. Outraged by the endless crimes of this government, from the killing of Azem Hajdari to the political imprisonment of opposition activists, the many protesters were not stopped by any means of pressure. Also outraged by the announcement of this government's demand for the arrest of the country's former President and opposition leader, Sali Berisha, as well as the class struggle in action after the release of the rebels, they strongly denounced the government and its anti-national scenarios.
The Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, the Steering Council of the People's Parties, the governments and high authorities of the EU, the United States and Western personalities have for years stated that Azem Hajdari, as well as other Albanian opposition activists, enjoy parliamentary immunity for their activities. Sali Berisha se Azem Hajdari. As well as the parliamentary notice regarding the activity of the PD, Sali Berisha [?]

Television, the hand of national hatred and the demons of the Albanian crisis
When the transnational media control [?] is replacing with its own political demands the governments' rewards to the police, public television is reappearing as an instrument of hatred, incitement of hunger and of the Albanian political crisis.
This severe and extreme act of censorship in the television media is drastically devaluing the mission of this public institution and turning it into a weapon of civil war. The scenes broadcast in recent days, where brutal police reaction, the demonization of the opposition and the denial of obvious truths have been placed at the center of the screen, show that state television is no longer an informative space, but a propaganda instrument.
The editing of the reports, the selection of images, the language used and the silence regarding many serious facts have created a manipulated picture of reality. Instead of serving calm, reconciliation and information, it is contributing to the worsening of the political climate and to the creation of an exclusionary spirit against political opponents.
At a time when the country needs institutions that build trust, television is becoming a symbol of the partisan instrumentalization of the state. This is a blow not only to the opposition, but to Albanian society itself and to the possibility of a democratic solution to the crisis.
