Paskal Milo makes a fool of himself on CNN's screen
He has received no answer about Kosovo
The Albanian Foreign Minister, with a threatening note toward Albanians in the United States who were demonstrating in front of the American headquarters, made yesterday one of the biggest blunders in Albanian diplomacy. Paskal Milo appeared before the cameras angry, using vulgar and vindictive language, declaring that the protests against him were an "operation" by the opposition financed by "crime." Instead of answering about Kosovo and the massacres against Albanians, he attacked emigrants and the opposition.

The government protects the killers of Azem Hajdari
Today, 20 days after the murder of the leader of December
Every day that passes since the killing of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, publicly proves that the new government has built its political survival on concealing the crime and protecting the perpetrators. The silence of the institutions and the lack of transparency have become part of the scandal. The opposition accuses the state of obstructing the full uncovering of the case.
The brief anniversary of this killing is finding Albanians without answers to the key questions: who ordered it, who organized it, and who carried it out? Instead of justice, the country is seeing justifications, manipulation, and attempts to downplay the significance of the event. This behavior only deepens the crisis of trust in the state.
Azem Hajdari is remembered as a central figure of the student movement and political pluralism. His murder has left severe moral and political consequences. For the opposition, the government’s responsibility is twofold: to find the perpetrators and to ensure that justice is not trampled on by the interests of power.
Marathon battle for tenders
By Asllan Afejzozi
The battle over the post in the new government has been sharp and full of backstage maneuvering. The disputes between the appointed prime minister and his allies over the division of tenders and posts have continued until the very last minutes. Representatives of the PSD have insisted on control of several profitable ministries, while the socialists have tried to maintain dominance. The agreement was reached with great difficulty and the coalition begins divided. The clashes over Apostoli’s tenders have become the symbol of this government.
In the background, there has also been a conflict with factions inside the majority, which are using the appointment of ministers as a means of pressure against one another. The new prime minister has appeared weak in the face of his partners’ demands and has accepted compromises that damage his political authority. This situation has raised serious doubts about the stability of the new cabinet.
From the very first day, the government list has been accompanied by comments about deals and clientelist interests. The opposition has described this government as the product of a dark bargain, in which personal and economic interests have prevailed over the public interest. The debate over tenders has thus become the axis of public discussion.
In this climate, the name of Apostoli is mentioned as an important node of the conflict. The struggle for influence over economic sectors and over opportunities for gain has exposed the old wounds of Albanian politics. And so the new government takes office under the shadow of corruption and lack of trust.
Milošević is carrying out ethnic cleansing
PD chairman Berisha denounces the Serbian massacre in the villages of Kosovo
The chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania, Sali Berisha, declared that the situation in Kosovo is heading toward a humanitarian catastrophe, while the Milošević regime continues its policy of burning, killing and mass expulsion of Albanians. According to him, Serbian forces have carried out massacres in several villages of Kosovo, killing civilians and forcing families to abandon their homes.
Berisha called on the international community to react decisively to Serbian crimes and not be satisfied with statements alone. He demanded swift intervention to stop the ethnic cleansing and to guarantee the protection of the Albanian population in Kosovo. According to him, international silence is encouraging the aggressor.
The statement emphasizes that the tragedy of Kosovo is not only an Albanian issue, but a test of Europe's democratic conscience. The Democratic Party expressed solidarity with the Albanians of Kosovo and called for increased diplomatic pressure on Belgrade.
