Meanwhile, the process of destroying private property has begun and the aim is to establish total control over power. Yesterday, Albanian television viewers were informed of two news items, unfortunately highly significant. The executive head of the Socialist Party, Gramoz Ruçi, declared that the government document “On the place of Urfit” would be annulled without anything being clarified, while the Minister of the Interior, Neritan Ceka, ordered around 500 special and police forces to surround the Tirana court in a demonstrative and threatening manner, for the examination of the opposition’s lawsuit and of other political and public associations. This is an alarm signal for our society. The government and the coalition are proving that they are not in the service of the public, but of the dark forces that want the return of monism. For democrats, but also for all free citizens, this development cannot be accepted. It is time for a firm civic stance and for massive participation in today’s protest. CITIZENS OF TIRANA!
