The "McCarthy" Commission protects criminals
The PS, a force identified with crime. The Ngjela commission hides the killers who are now in power
Who are some of the criminal PS deputies, and members of the Ngjela commission
ON PAGE 3
Spartak Ngjela appeared in parliament yesterday to act as spokesman for the killers and criminals of last year, who plunged Albania into blood, tears, and flames in order to return to power. The lawyer spoke about the events of March last year, on behalf of a commission whose members, if Albania were governed by a normal state, should long ago have ended up behind prison bars as direct المسؤولs for dozens of crimes, among the most monstrous.
That fact alone would be enough for no one to take the Albanian "McCarthy" led by Ngjela seriously. Because no one in Albania can believe the investigations of a group of incriminated people, who surely, during their inquiries, took care to erase the traces of their own crimes or those of their comrades-in-arms. It is enough to mention to Albanians the name of Maksim Hasani, known as one of the arsonists of Berat, who even today shelters in his house people sick and wanted by the police, and they will ignore everything said in his name. The least dangerous thing known about him is the fact that he has declared himself an Enverist and leader of the Communist Party. The same goes for the representative of the 20,000 dollars for the attack on Skënderi, Spartak Braho, the shelter of the Devoll gang committee, Arben Çilimi, and others who make up the rest of Ngjela’s commission.
It is by no means a coincidence that the majority of parliamentarians directly implicated in last year’s events are in Ngjela’s commission. Their selection was made with full regard to the degree of criminal involvement, because their bosses in the anti-state administration wanted to be guaranteed the destruction of all documentary evidence that this gang of parliamentarians would find in the state offices.
Although many times during his account before parliament, Mr. Ngjela inserted such true details that he may have let them slip unintentionally, by the immediate end of his speech there remains no fact or evidence against today’s opposition; the commission’s "analysis" is tainted from the outset. If the living Enverist star Hasani had to defile the dead by calling them terrorists, obscurantists, etc.; if Spartak Ngjela used, without restraint, the piercing language of a terminology maniac, that does not change in the least the taste of yesterday’s farce in the parliament of gangs and bandits. Because yesterday Ngjela was equal among equals with those who set the fuses or removed the detonators from the bombs during March last year, regardless of the fact that the chief among the accused had found in the notary Roggoni a completely neutral place where he could hide in insecure Tirana.
The truth about the events that plunged Albania into chaos and caused thousands of dead and wounded will emerge only after the Albanian parliament is cleared of the criminals who hold office together and are drinking the blood of police officers brutally killed by criminals who were equally tied to the cabinet. For this truth to change, puppets of Ngjela’s type must also be removed from the Albanian political scene, who, having just won 06 Roggoni in the time of Nano’s, Brokaj’s, Gjinushi’s, Malaj’s, Çollaku’s, Hasani’s, Braho’s crimes, etc., have shifted so much toward using hawks that they cause turmoil. And this will be achieved only after free elections are held.
Broadcasting exclusivity for Albanian television
The PD Public Security Department has plenty of documents on the rebellion
A spokesman for the Democratic Party announced that the Truth Commission, established within the PD Public Security Department over these months, has collected, classified, and archived a series of files with documents and facts published or not by Albanian and foreign media, as well as film and audio materials of various origins. The Commission will seek to make these documents public through Albanian Radio Television, to which it wishes to grant broadcasting exclusivity, on condition that it transmits them in full, without censorship and without manipulation, at times preferred by viewers. Otherwise, the Commission will present them in the Albanian and foreign media.

Only in January, 33% of the '98 inflation
The PD Department of Economic Policies warns of high inflation
January alone amounted to 33% of the inflation forecast for the end of 1998.
The official inflation published by the Institute of Statistics, without fully publishing the basket items, as of 10.02.1998, records a 3.46% increase in the price index compared with December 1997.
This figure published for January '98 represents one third of the official inflation figure forecast for the end of 1998. So we have a beginning that demonstrates the deepening crisis of the Nano government.
The Department of Economic Policies of the Democratic Party also considers this figure to be a reserved deviation, because the preliminary data of this Department, which will soon be made public, show a greater increase, far from this reality.
Our Department, after demonstrating with facts, by publishing the falsified prices of the 1997 inflation level, which reached 75% and which the Institute of Statistics set at only 42%, wants the Institution to restore professional correctness and give seriousness to its work, as well as to publish the types of basket prices and their changes.
The Department reserves the right to request a public confrontation with this Institute.

The police hide 13 contraband trucks
13 trucks loaded with contraband foodstuffs have been hidden by the Elbasan police after their seizure. No one in the Elbasan directorate is able to say where the 13 contraband trucks ended up after being blocked. This is not the first time that the police have hidden blocked contraband goods. Government interventions in the blocking of contraband goods have become an everyday occurrence in police stations. The latter, in order to fill the television news, block some vehicle without plates or some market disruptor who has no connection to the heads of state. Two days ago, according to a police source, 13 trucks with contraband food were stopped by the forces of the Elbasan Directorate police.
It was the first time, this source emphasizes, that this police force managed to seize such a large amount of contraband. The seizure of these trucks has at the same time marked the greatest success idealized by the work of the new director, Agron Nano.
However, after the seizure of these trucks, not even an official statement clarifies whether their cargo had been documented, customs-cleared, and what quantity of goods it contained. The blocking of the trucks was carried out at night in a parking area, under strict police surveillance.
"The dawn has signed off on the trucks and to uncover them is to reveal the truth of the remaining orphan. Initially the trucks were stopped by the police for lack of documentation nearby. They were later checked, and the goods were found to bear no proper stamp. But nothing more has been said about them, or where they ended up, and no one has learned anything. Sources in the General Prosecutor’s Office said that as a result of this smuggling the profit is approximately ... After this large truck case, there was the Vilepoja case, where two trucks with contraband cigarettes were seized. They were then discovered and placed in three reserved state depots in Lundër. But even in these depots, although guarded by reinforced police and military security, there have been cases of attacks. The fact of the 13 trucks with food blocked in Elbasan is not like that. It is still unknown where they ended up and the police have hidden all the documentation of the seizure.
