The Albanian state has gone mad. So it is not only Interior Minister Çeka who has gone mad, but other ministers too. It is not only Fatos Klosi who has gone mad, but also Prime Minister Fatos Nano. The state’s madness is directed against the opposition, toward its constant elimination and toward turning Albania into the Albania of 1947, without opposition and without oppositionists. This is the third attempt to physically eliminate the right-wing leader Azem Hajdari, while the old State Security mechanism is now operating without any difficulty. Hoxha’s generals have become Çeka’s generals and, just as ten years ago, they are devising and carrying out scenarios such as “weapons in the church” or the Albanian “Reichstag.” While the prosecutor in the case declares on TV that no weapons were found in the cars accompanying Hajdari, Interior Minister Çeka, together with three other provocateurs, says the opposite. A few hours later, following the incident in Milot, police and SHIK forces, now directed by the communist-era State Security men, planted a bomb in the Municipality building in the city of Gjirokastër. None of the city’s residents believes that anyone other than the police and State Security could have had the opportunity to plant explosives in a building guarded so closely by the police. As in the Reichstag trial, the prosecution summons two members of the DP branch leadership in Gjirokastër for questioning. A prosecutor named Arben Pasha, who signed papers together with Gjolek Malaj during the days of the uprising and sent them to Tirana, has asked the police to attack the Democrats. In two days, the bandits who have come to power have taken the place of street gangs, of masked men who rob innocent people, and have set upon the opposition. A major plot has been hatched in the dark minds of the bandit authorities to silence the last remaining free voice as well. Around 14 DP activists, including Ali Kazazi, former Interior Minister in the Government of National Reconciliation, who was persecuted by the communist dictatorship, are in prison cells. The State has denied them legal counsel. A criminal horde of thieves, petty crooks, illiterate people gathered from the backwaters of the entire country, just as in 1945, now poses a great danger to Albanian democracy. This is no longer about a state. This is about a large gang with offices and cars, which controls people’s money and uses it to try to silence the opposition. Responsibility for this situation began long ago. Back in August, Interior Minister Neritan Ceka declared the DP an armed party. A few days later, the Democratic MP Azem Hajdari was hit by five bullets in front of Parliament. Events unfolded in such a way that the blood of Democrats was shed again, this time in Tropojë. Three Democrats were killed by the State. Later, the Albanian prime minister declared that the DP was a political terrorist organization. After his hordes failed to eliminate the December leader Azem Hajdari, Minister Ceka arrested 14 people, most of them committed DP activists. A day later, the government decided to revive the Reichstag plot, but now in Gjirokastër. Last night, the Albanian Parliament sent signals that the immunity of DP MPs would be lifted. The Parliament, which was acceptable for the moment, is becoming unacceptable even for a minute. No one can any longer tolerate this regime, which has neither a Parliament nor a police force, but only bandits and gangs of thieves and criminals, usurpers. The State is in the throes of its own rage.

In seeking to defend the brainwashed conclusions of her institutions, she showed that she is a co-author, along with Nano, Malaj, Fino, Pashko and the other government officials, of the theft of more than 45 billion lek in Albanians’ savings through the concealment of inflation. This esteemed lady, who took more than two weeks to respond, would have published the list of price increases, as the Institute for the Study of the Economy in Transition did, exposing the government’s false figures produced by INSTAT’s offices, if she had even a shred of professional integrity left. But she could not do that, because it would have exposed the government deception, in which she herself has a part. Yesterday, the director of the Institute of Statistics showed that she is a co-author of the great deception involving the concealment of inflation, just like those who ordered her to do it. Yesterday she proved that she is a miserable tool of government officials in their unscrupulous deception, which will have extremely serious consequences for Albanian citizens.
