But it is clear that here this question is meaningless, since the alternative is one and the same. Or rather, two faces of the same choice. In Albanian politics in recent years, especially after ’97, a model has been created in which the names change, but not the way of governing. For this reason, whenever the country faces a crisis, the same people return, the same formulas, the same mentality. One presents himself as more moderate, the other as more determined, but essentially both belong to the same power scheme. Therefore, the dilemma “Majko or Nano” is false. It serves only to keep alive the illusion of choice, while the real choice is denied to the citizen. And that is why the country continues to move in a vicious circle, without producing real political change.
