The 12 September of Klos - Pen of the gunners responsible for the destabilization and fragmentation of the opposition The scene at the city riverbed, where the Haklaj brothers’ group was drinking coffee with other residents, was yesterday the scene of a real massacre. The citizens Islim Hyska and Jusuf Bashkurti were killed on the spot, while 20 passers-by and residents of the area were seriously injured. According to an official statement by the police, these citizens fell victim to gunfire from police forces against a group of armed persons, while the police were pursuing a wanted person. But the police’s official version is contradicted by the testimony of neighborhood residents and the injured, according to whom the head of crimes in Tropojë, Jaha Salihu, and police officer Ylli H[d]ali, fired bursts from an automatic weapon against the citizens who were in the riverbed and then left. Sources from Bajram Curri say that the perpetrators of this event are the same ones who on Monday executed the taxi driver Agim Murrja with firearms. Around 6:40 a.m., a vehicle carrying the brothers Fatmir, Halil and Hasim Haklaj was hit by a quantity of tritol placed on the city road near Qafës së Kërrnajt. As a result of the explosion, Halil Haklaj and Ferit Karanja were killed on the spot, and Fatmir Haklaj was seriously injured. According to the police, the motive for this event is revenge, but people close to the injured Fatmir Haklaj accuse the police of being responsible for organizing the attack. According to them, the attackers were positioned at the observation post near the city’s military unit. Immediately after the event, Fatmir Haklaj was taken by helicopter to the Military Hospital of Tirana, while the police escorted 35 suspected persons to the station. Also yesterday, police and RENEA forces reinforced checkpoints at all entrances to Tropojë, while it became possible to transport the injured to the Kukës Regional Hospital and the Military Hospital of Tirana.
