News
This afternoon, employees of the Tirana municipality tore down the street sign with the name “Ibrahim Rugova” that had been installed in 2008 on a street in unit 7, while yesterday morning another street in Tirana was named after the former president of Kosovo, following a proposal by the mayor, Lulzim Basha.

The other street bearing the name “Ibrahim Rugova” since 2008 is located in municipal unit number 7. It has been renovated and even has the corresponding plaque. It is near the former park of unit no. 7 and is a continuation of “Babë Rexha” street. But immediately after the uproar caused by the existence of two streets with the same name in the Tirana municipality, this institution sent teams of workers to remove the street naming sign.
