Ironically, his name is still on the list of defendants who are sent by the General Prosecutor’s Office to court, where he is being tried together with other officials of the PD government for the coup d’état of 13-14 September 1998. Because he contributed to bringing even by force Sali Berisha’s party into power. But the party no longer needs him. Today it needs servants, police officers who serve power and its permits to plunder Albania’s material wealth.
