Zyla called the newspaper’s articles immoral, but he could not refute any of the documents published. ■■■ TIRANE Habjon Hasani It was 20:59. An unexpected notice reaches the newsrooms. Ylli Zyla, the director of the Army Intelligence Service, resigned from his post. He referred to the articles and accusations in the media, thinking of the only media outlet that had written about his conflict of interest with an arms company, the newspaper Shqiptarja.com. Sources from Shqiptarja.com told the newspaper that he had been consulting his resignation decision all morning, while in the meantime he was assuredly opposed by many others.
