“Albania has undergone an impressive journey over these last 20 years, and I like to say that Italy has always supported Albania on this journey.” The Italian Ambassador in Tirana, Massimo Gaiani, speaks clearly and openly when it comes to cooperation between the two countries. He sees our country as a good opportunity for investment in this time of global crisis, but he also knows how to give the right advice on the steps an entrepreneur coming from abroad should take. In this interview for Shqiptarja.com, the ambassador outlines an optimistic situation in relations between the two countries, considering Albania a good chance for investment. Mr. Ambassador, 15 or 20 years ago, when the phenomenon of business relocation began in Italy, Albania was seen as very attractive by Italian companies and those from the Puglia region, because geographically it is close and has cheap labor. Editorial Fattore Italia! Just the beginning
Editorial BY ALBA MALLTEZI Fattore Italia! Just the beginning The daily Shqiptarja.com and our entire media group Free and Fair Media Group comes to the market today for readers with a special supplement: Fattore Italia! It is a new perspective and a new window onto the world of productive, economic and cultural excellence operating in our country, side by side with the entrepreneurship of our neighbor: Italy, leaving room and opportunities for later with other experiences involving important factors from other countries. Together with the Italian Ambassador in Tirana, Massimo Gaiani, we immediately found a common understanding and the desire to bring to our print daily the best examples of the Italian presence in Albania and to regard this cooperation as a first outstretched hand between our media group and the diverse Italian reality in Albania. In this supplement, with Shqiptarja.com we have focused, just as a camera can, on a part of this broad reality, in order to open the way to other initiatives and activities, new focuses. We have sought opinions and today we are presenting different representatives of Italian or Italian-Albanian realities in the country: Cristina Busi, one of the first investors, among the boldest women, then Intesa SanPaolo Bank, Petrolifera Italo Rumena, the Fiat Group, the Tonucci law firm, the Ferretti studio, Salus Hospital, etc. All of them are highly important enterprises that have offered thousands of jobs and experience in Albania. The publication of the Fattore Italia supplement today is, for us, only the beginning of an initiative born from good wishes and good ideas, which will grow in the future.
