SHKODËRIN Movement of Tjaçefi, co- mander on empty roads SHKODRIN. Thousands of volunteers have taken part for 5 days and nights in a row in clearing the city of fallen snow and ice, mainly in the "Skënderbeg" neighborhood. Work began with the narrowest and consequently most difficult streets. Citizens and workers, specialists and students, young men and women, with shovels, pickaxes and other tools, worked with dedication. In many sections the passage of vehicles was made more difficult, but it was kept under control. Leaders of the councils and municipal enterprises were engaged to coordinate the work. Neighborhoods where the snow had blocked entrances and alleys were especially assisted. In many places, circulation was made possible even for goods and service transport vehicles. — A. KACINI
