The Party is distinguished not only by fulfilling its mission, but also by organizing people to solve their problems. In this sense, the experiences and initiatives of the workers in the production collective “Përparimi” in Gjakovë are of interest not only to that working environment, but more broadly as well. Although a young collective, with a young average age among its employees, “Përparimi” is growing rapidly and strongly on the basis of open discussion, the proper presentation of problems, and the broad involvement of people in solving them. This free and responsible discussion has created a new working climate there, a spirit of cooperation, and a higher sense of duty. People no longer wait only for instructions from above; they speak, make proposals, criticize, and take responsibility. In this way, a number of organizational, technical, and social issues that used to drag on have been resolved in time. Dialogue with the masses provides solutions to problems because it brings out people’s opinions and their will to act. It deepens socialist democracy, strengthens the links between managers and workers, and makes the collective more capable of facing difficulties and moving forward. This is precisely the spirit now being observed in “Përparimi”, where open discussion is becoming a daily working method rather than an occasional act.
