Facing electric power in these drought times
At the workplace, everyone as an inspector
- DOMESTIC
Every day problems with the electricity supply are coming to light, this time in even greater numbers. All this is happening precisely under conditions where, during these days, according to the KKE operational statistics, consumers have at their disposal about 690,000 kilowatt-hours less electricity than last year, while in just one day there is a shortage of about as much as hydroelectric plants consume in fifteen hours.
This deficit necessarily raises the question not only of where we can find the possibility of overcoming it, but also of how to ease it, both on the general level and on the narrower one. This is a question that becomes especially acute now, when not only energy specialists but every worker and every consumer must take such a course of action seriously.
Clearly, alongside the general problems with electricity imports, other shortcomings are also coming to light, related to discipline in use, unnecessary consumption, and lack of care at the workplace and in household management. It is precisely in such circumstances that everyone’s control over the rational use of energy becomes more necessary.

Will a publishing house be created for everything? This is the concern that arose yesterday from a discussion at the plenum of the League of Writers and Artists of the district of Durrës. According to the participants, the creation of such institutions for every activity and every problem would lead to the dispersal of creative and organizational forces. It was stressed that publications must be of quality, works must be selected better, and artistic and professional responsibility must be strengthened.
