THE RESULTS ENCOURAGE AND INSPIRE US FOR NEW ACHIEVEMENTS

— In the agricultural enterprise "Emin Duraku", in Plasë of Korça e Punës Socialiste, on 24 hectares sown with wheat, 68 quintals per hectare were obtained — FIRST SECRETARY OF THE CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF THE PPSH TIRANA Dear comrade Ramiz! During July, at the height of the harvest, the united agricultural cooperative together with the enterprise "Emin Duraku" is successfully continuing the final work of this season. The income and results achieved in the field of production encourage and inspire us for new achievements. On 24 hectares of wheat, 68 quintals per hectare have been obtained. This achievement is the fruit of organized efforts, the application of agrotechnical requirements, and the tireless work of our cooperativists and specialists. This success was influenced by quality work, better use of the land, care for fertilization, seed selection, and the timely carrying out of all agrotechnical processes. The village workers, conscious of their duties, are showing a high readiness to fulfill and surpass the plan. The results we have achieved so far are proof that when work is well organized, when the Party’s guidelines are followed scrupulously, and when people work with dedication, achievements are assured. We will continue at the same pace also in the other crops, putting production growth and the rational use of reserves at the center. We regard these results as encouragement for even greater work and for new achievements in all directions. Our work collective sends you revolutionary greetings and assures you that it will make every effort to fulfill the tasks set by the Party and by the times.

A NEW FRONT OF CARE TO INCREASE THE WELL-BEING OF THE PEOPLE

— How the Political Bureau’s decision to strengthen and expand cooperativist support was led — DUKË The Party worker’s work on the Political Bureau’s decision has created liveliness in the cooperative and in the village. The measures taken to improve living conditions, increase incomes, and expand services to the population have been well received. In meetings with cooperativists and specialists, the issues linked to supply, the improvement of working conditions, and greater interest in production were discussed carefully. Greater attention was noted for the needs of cooperativist families, for housing, food, and daily services. The decision has encouraged the administration and social organizations to deal more seriously with people’s difficulties and with improving the material and cultural situation in the village. In this framework, specific tasks have been set for each sector and deadlines established for solving the most acute problems. This new front of care to increase the well-being of the people must be accompanied by more production, higher discipline, and better use of resources. Only in this way will stable and tangible results be ensured for the people.
