In the wake of the season, at the start of the harvest, the use of the sickle continues to be limited, and that is enough to explain part of the failure to meet the grain collection plan. To the question: Why does this situation continue? Another answer is also warranted. Some sectors of the agricultural cooperatives still have not abandoned a harmful mindset. They consider the sickle to be an outdated tool. This has led to its delayed and insufficient use. Some of the structural features that distinguish the household yard can be grasped intuitively, but to understand correctly the role this sector of the family economy must play under the concrete conditions of our country, it must be examined more broadly. According to the data available so far, cattle in the private sector account for [?] of the heads, pigs [?], poultry [?]. As a result, the production of meat, milk and eggs from the household yard occupies a considerable share. The problem is not simply to impose numerical limits, but to find forms of organization and economic relations that encourage production without undermining the fundamental principles of the socialist system. Farmers in the Korçë district are working to improve livestock indicators. In several farms and cooperatives, the milk collection plan has been fulfilled and exceeded. This is linked to greater care in feeding the livestock and to better organization of milking and delivery. These days a group of geology specialists met in Tirana, where the main directions of studies and research for the coming five years were discussed. The necessity of increasing the effectiveness of the works, making better use of funds and directing research toward the minerals most needed by the economy was emphasized.
